“Body and mind.”
In Diptych, Cavilla divides a seated figure across two unequal panels, placing the tilted face above the broad curves of the gathered body. Pale blue-green hair surrounds the warm orange features and continues into the lower panel, linking the image across its horizontal break. The close framing gives the figure an intimate presence, while preserving the body-mind dichotomy.
