Cafe del Mar draws on the spectacle of sunset fire dancing on the beaches of Ibiza. Turquoise and deep blue forms sweep across a field of ochre, yellow and orange, suggesting bodies, smoke and flame in motion. The corrugated cardboard remains visible beneath the paint, adding a rough, rhythmic texture to the surface. Figures emerge and dissolve within the colour, capturing the shifting energy of a gathering between daylight and darkness.
