WELCOME TO THE KRYSALIS FOUNDERS TRIBE

An international alliance of visionaries, designers, builders, and philanthropists
co-creating a work of art so powerful it could reshape the world.
This is where history begins to turn
If you’re tired of watching the world spiralling out of control and want to do something about it, you’re in the right place. We’ve never been in a position to shape our own future until now. With the advent of social media, blockchain, and artificial intelligence, we have the tools and tech to shift power away from the ruling corporate forces, and put it into the hands of the people, where it belongs.
THIS IS R.EVOLUTION
Unlike revolution, evolution means we don’t need to burn anything down. Why would we? The world machine works fine just as it is. We just need to create a citizen-owned corporation to steer this machine, with objectives that align with humankind’s needs, rather than profit and greed. We call this new corporation KRYSALIS (after the cocoon that turns a worm into a butterfly) and KRYSALIS is what the Founder’s Tribe is here to envision and build. For all of us.
WANT TO BE PART OF IT?
WATCH THE TRAILER TO LEARN MORE
This trailer explores how the world’s most powerful invention — the corporation — has evolved into a threat to humanity’s future. But instead of fighting the system… what if we worked inside of it? KRYSALIS offers a citizen-owned solution. A transparent, decentralized corporation designed to beat the ruling corporations at their own game. Watch the trailer to see how it works — and how you can be part of what comes next.
KRYSALIS: THE MOVIE
THE FULL VISION
Watch the movie to get a full idea of what this is all about.
This 37-minute film shows how the Krysalis ecosystem works, how it solves the 8 global challenges that we currently face, and why this project may be the only practical solution left to us.
One Coin. One DAO.
One Chance to Build Something That Works.
When you mint a Founders Tribe Coin, you become one of the first 1000 founders to establish the world’s first citizen-owned corporation; an unprecedented event in human history. Whether you’re here to guide, fund, or build, you receive a unique NFT, a personal seat in an exclusive DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organization), and an opportunity to help shape what comes next.
Every member only gets one vote. No Cubit balance, donation size, or prestige can change that. This is not a system for buying influence. This is a space for earning trust and building together.
In return for your participation, you earn Cubits — the internal merit currency of the Krysalis Ecosystem. These Cubits will one day be spendable in the Krysalis Marketplace for goods, services, and digital assets. For now, they are a symbolic measure of your contribution and alignment with the mission.
When you mint a Founders Tribe Coin, you’re not a customer. You’re a co-creator, and that means you’ll reap the rewards, and be part of something that could lift humanity out of its current situation, and into a new era of societal evolution.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
The Vision
Krysalis is social media with a soul — a citizen-owned network where your voice matters, your contributions are visible, and your feed reflects your actual values, not an algorithm’s manipulation.
It’s a next-generation platform designed to keep everything we love about today’s social tools — the connection, the creativity, the discovery — while removing the surveillance, exploitation, and corporate control that have warped them and polarized us.
Krysalis isn’t built to keep you scrolling.
It’s built to keep you growing — as a creator, a citizen, and a co-owner of the future.
Deep Dive: The Krysalis Social Platform
Most social networks use your data to help advertisers reach you. Krysalis will do the same, but here’s the difference: in our model, all advertising revenue flows into the Krysalis Bank — and those profits are redirected to benefit us directly, through programs like year-end dividends and community-funded initiatives.
One such initiative is the Citizen Lobby Arm, which gives Krysalis users the power to propose laws, fund lobbying efforts, and shape legislation from the ground up.
Krysalis rewards you for showing up with intelligence, care, and creativity.
When you join, you don’t just get a profile with your pics and videos — you also get a presence:
A living record of the DaoBoxes you’re part of, the causes you care about, the work you’ve contributed, and the Cubits you’ve earned doing it.
Alongside your personal feed is your Citizen KeyPortal — your dashboard, identity, and toolkit. It’s your bridge into the Krysalis ecosystem and a real-time reflection of your participation.
Imagine a platform where:
- Your profile evolves as you participate — showing the communities, causes, and decisions you’ve helped shape
- You join DaoBoxes based on what you care about (arts, education, climate, justice, tech…)
- You earn Cubits for your creativity and collaboration, and spend them in the Krysalis Marketplace
- You co-author laws, propose initiatives, or support others with your vote
- You’re part of an ecosystem that funds ideas, supports creators, and governs itself transparently
- It’s like if Facebook, Reddit, and Amazon had a child — and raised it right.
Why It’s Different
Krysalis isn’t just a social media platform and marketplace.
It’s a working prototype for a new model of society — one where the systems we use every day are owned by us, not corporate shareholders.
It’s built on:
- Transparency (no invisible algorithms or black-box censorship)
- Participation (your ideas, your vote, your agency)
- Regeneration (value that cycles back to contributors, not extracted from them)
It’s a platform, a movement, and a living experiment — designed to evolve as we do.
Final Thought
Krysalis isn’t a political chore.
It’s a playground for possibility — where your ideas matter, your communities have power, and your time spent online leaves the world better than it was before.
This is what social media was supposed to be.
Let’s make it real.
Krysalis isn’t just a social network or an economic experiment — it’s a systems intervention machine: a structure designed to shift power away from centralized institutions and into the hands of informed, value-aligned citizens.
Corporations influence policy through lobbying and capital. That’s how the system works — and Krysalis will do the same.
The difference?
Our approach isn’t shaped by greed and profit.
It’s shaped by citizen coalitions, transparent mandates, and economic self-determination.
The Strategy: Replace, Resist, Redirect
Krysalis challenges entrenched power on three fronts:
1. REPLACE private infrastructure with public alternatives
- A citizen-owned social network
- A transparent, merit-based economy (Cubits)
- A decentralized e-commerce and employment layer
- A citizen-owned media network (Krysalis Broadcasting Network)
2. RESIST undue influence through collective action
- Use the DAO and DaoBoxes to draft and promote citizen mandates
- Establish a lobbying arm to push for real-world policy change
- Coordinate cross-regional media, content, and pressure campaigns
3. REDIRECT money, attention, and innovation
- Away from extractive platforms and shareholder profits
- Toward regenerative, co-owned systems that serve us all
- Rewarding creators, thinkers, and organizers — not speculators
⚖️ The Citizen Lobby Arm
One of Krysalis’ most powerful long-term tools is its Citizen Lobby Arm — a DAO-backed initiative that uses:
- Collective Cubit staking to prioritize causes
- AI-assisted research and policy prototyping
- Legal task forces and public campaigns
- Strategic partnerships with existing movements
This Lobby Arm isn’t about shouting into the void.
It’s about real leverage — and we know exactly how the game is played.
Every year, billions are spent on lobbying — much of it behind closed doors, flowing directly into the pockets and campaigns of politicians and lawmakers.
That’s not a bug in the system. It is the system.
Krysalis isn’t here to tear anything down and demand change.
We’re here to compete — on the same field, by the same rules — and win.
We’ll use the same mechanisms:
Lobbying. Incentives. Media influence.
But our deals won’t be hidden in back rooms.
They’ll be offered in the open — backed by data, funding, and the will of organized citizens.
And for politicians, Krysalis will offer more than the corporations ever could. Because in addition to competitive perks, they’ll also receive:
- A verified mandate backed by thousands (or millions) of citizens
- A motivated voting bloc ready to support re-election
- Public visibility and legitimacy from a transparent, global platform
- The chance to be seen not as corrupt, but as courageous — standing with the people
When the choice is between shady money and public glory —
we’ll make it so that politicians would be foolish not to choose us.
Mandates, Not Petitions
Petitions can be ignored.
Mandates can’t.
Krysalis allows citizens to:
- Join DaoBoxes on issues they care about
- Educate themselves with the help of AI and peers
- Discuss and debate until consensus is reached
- Co-create policies and proposals
- Stake Cubits to demonstrate support
- Move initiatives from talk to action — with transparency, metrics, and votes
These proposals are exported as real-world legislation, backed by thousands of verified contributors — not bots or meaningless signatures.
Owning the Means of Coordination
Corporations and governments control society through infrastructure: banks, media, logistics, and law.
Krysalis flips the model by giving citizens:
- Their own platform (social, economic, and legislative)
- Their own media network (KBN)
- Their own merit currency (Cubits)
- Their own treasury (The Krysalis Bank)
- Their own governance and production systems
Once enough people opt in, the old systems become obsolete.
We won’t need to protest.
We’ll simply stop participating in what no longer serves us.
If those in power object, they can look at the votes, the data, and the overwhelming consent — and then stand down.
Final Thought
Krysalis doesn’t seek to overthrow power through violence or chaos. It aims to make outdated systems irrelevant — by building something better, together.
The revolution isn’t about tearing down.
It’s about building up — until we have a viable alternative.
We’re not waiting for permission.
We’re creating our own platform, our own economy, and our own future.
Let’s build something the corporations can’t buy —
And the governments can’t ignore.
The Krysalis Marketplace is the commerce layer of the Krysalis platform — a decentralized, citizen-owned alternative to Amazon, eBay, Upwork, Craigslist, and Facebook Marketplace.
In the Krysalis Marketplace, value flows back to the people who create and use it — not to shareholders or centralized banks.
This isn’t just a place to buy and sell.
It’s the beating heart of a regenerative, post-corporate economy — built around the Cubit, a decentralized, inflation-free merit currency owned by the people, not by central banks.
What Makes It Different
Most online marketplaces extract value and concentrate it at the top.
Krysalis reverses this by embedding commerce inside a democratic, transparent, and citizen-governed ecosystem where:
- Sellers keep more of what they earn
- Marketplace profits are reinvested into the ecosystem
- Only Cubits are used, eliminating reliance on debt-based fiat currencies
- A network of DAOs govern rules, fees, and standards — keeping power decentralized
It’s commerce with a conscience — optimized for fairness, regeneration, and trust.
What Can You Buy and Sell?
Eventually, everything you can buy today — and much more.
As the ecosystem grows, the Krysalis Marketplace will evolve into a full-service commercial platform offering:
- Products: From televisions to teapots
- Food: From groceries to takeout
- Services: From coding to consulting
- Properties: From homes to commercial buildings
- Subscriptions: From phone plans to streaming services
- Tools: From power drills to software licenses
And it won’t stop there. With physical distribution, real-world logistics, and DAO-managed infrastructure, Krysalis could become the default global marketplace — where people buy, sell, work, and trade in a fully transparent, citizen-owned economy.
The Role of Cubits
Cubits are earned or generated through meaningful contribution.
You can gain Cubits by:
- Offering goods and services in the Krysalis Marketplace
- Participating in governance and DaoBoxes
- Converting fiat into Cubits (philanthropic entry point)
- Working for the Krysalis Corporation in any capacity
These Cubits are non-speculative and merit-aligned, forming the basis of a closed-loop contribution economy where effort and impact are rewarded — not speculation or wealth.
Governance & Trust
All marketplace activity is governed by the DAO:
- Vendors are community-vetted
- Disputes are handled transparently via smart contracts or DaoBoxes
- Platform fees are set by vote and flow into the Krysalis Bank — funding public goods, creative bounties, and annual citizen dividends
Your Cubits, contributions, and reputation live visibly in your KeyPortal, ensuring transparency, fairness, and accountability across the board.
Why It Matters
In a world dominated by exploitative gig platforms and data-mining retail giants, the Krysalis Marketplace offers something radically different:
- A platform where creators and buyers are on the same side
- A system where every transaction strengthens community, not corporate control
- A model where purpose and profit finally align
Final Thought
The Krysalis Marketplace isn’t just another place to shop.
It’s a bold reimagining of how value flows through society.
Whether you’re launching a startup, teaching yoga, designing apps, or selling your vintage record player — there’s a place for you in this new economy.
It will feel familiar…
Only this time, we will own it.
The Founders Tribe is the team.
Krysalis is what we’re building.
Think of the Founders Tribe as the early collective — the builders, visionaries, and philanthropists laying the foundation. It’s a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) made up of people who share a belief in what’s possible after corporate capitalism has been laid to rest. People who are ready to co-create something radically different — and way better.
Krysalis, on the other hand, is the platform that will emerge from this work:
- A citizen-owned social network
- A merit-based economy powered by Cubits
- A decentralized governance system using AI tools, DaoBoxes, and human consensus
- A post-corporate public infrastructure owned and operated by the people who use it
In short: The Founders Tribe builds Krysalis.
How It Transitions
We’re currently in Phase 1: the Founders Tribe is gathering, prototyping, and funding the core systems.
Krysalis — the platform — will go live after the infrastructure is tested, the DAO is mature, and the key components (like the KeyPortal, DaoBoxes, the Krysalis Bank, and Cubit economy) are ready for broader public use.
When that happens, the tools and structures created by the Founders Tribe will be handed off to the Citizens of Krysalis — and the real evolution will begin.
Who’s Involved?
- The Founders Tribe is limited to 1,000 members. These members guide direction, test ideas, build features, fund growth, and shape the platform’s DNA.
- Citizens will onboard Krysalis when it comes online — using tools designed by the Founders Tribe to self-organize, govern, earn, and build within a regenerative system.
Final Thought
You don’t join Krysalis.
You build it — by joining the Founders Tribe.
When Krysalis launches, it will feel like it’s always existed — not just because it was built by the same people it was designed for, but because it was shaped to reflect our needs, values, and visions from the start.
Let’s be those people.
Let’s build what comes next.
The Engine Room
The Founders Tribe will build Krysalis in five ambitious phases — each one deepening the infrastructure, expanding the community, and evolving the vision from a DAO prototype into a living, globally scaled, citizen-owned organism.
Whether you’re a Builder, Visionary, or Philanthropist, your role is not just to support the project — it’s to shape it, sculpt it, and help make it real for everyone on Earth.
Deep Dive: The Founders Tribe Build Plan
Krysalis isn’t a product. It’s not a brand.
It’s a blueprint for the next evolution of civilization — and the Founders Tribe is here to build it from the ground up.
This isn’t a startup for profit-hungry investors or politicians. It’s a movement for citizens who recognize that our current systems are broken — and who are ready to build something better, and be properly rewarded for their effort.
Here’s a sketch of how the build may unfold. Like everything in the Founders Tribe, this plan is open to refinement. Final decisions will be made by the DAO itself, using the combined intelligence of its members — and our AI co-pilot — to continuously optimize the path forward.
PHASE 1 — The Gathering
Growing the Tribe and preparing for the first great leap forward
Krysalis begins by gathering its first 1,000 contributors from around the globe — a core network of highly motivated, multidisciplinary specialists who will form the initial Founders Tribe.
Until the thousandth NFT is minted, FT members will be busy constructing the foundational structures — what a sculptor might call the armature. This includes:
- The DAO Culture — A shared ethos of respect, humility, clarity, and purpose — supported by AI mediation to ensure discussions are productive, readable, and understood by all.
- The Contribution Model — A transparent, merit-based system for rewarding work with real-world compensation and Cubits — our non-speculative internal currency.
- The Refined Vision — A living blueprint for what’s coming next — not handed down, but built together.
When the 1,000th NFT is minted, the Founders Tribe will launch a major crowdfunding campaign, aiming to raise $1 million to fund the next phase of development.
Roles to Play:
- Visionaries: Shape messaging, strategy, and outreach
- Builders: Prepare the tools, workflows, and media
- Philanthropists: Fund the foundation of the post-corporate economy
PHASE 2 — The Forge
Designing and building the core infrastructure of Krysalis
This is the construction phase — where ideas become tools and systems:
- The DaoBox Cell — A modular, AI-assisted unit of citizen governance. DaoBoxes can be formed around any issue or task, and nested within others to create scalable, issue-specific governance. Decisions are made transparently, through AI-assisted dialogue and democratic input.
- The Cubit Monetary System — A regenerative, merit-based alternative to debt-based currencies. Cubits are earned through contribution, can’t be sold or speculated on, and circulate only within the Krysalis economy.
- The Krysalis Bank (Prototype) — A citizen-owned financial institution where all transactions are transparent, and profits are returned to the people.
- The Library of Knowledge — Documentation, blueprints, toolkits — shared across guilds and departments to ensure Krysalis remains a learning organism.
Everything will be prototyped and tested within the Founders Tribe before being released into the broader Krysalis platform.
Roles to Play:
- Builders: Developers, designers, system architects
- Visionaries: Testers, writers, futurists
- Philanthropists: Funders of development and experimentation
PHASE 3 — The Emergence
Launching the Krysalis platform and scaling the real-world economy
With tools in place, Krysalis will launch its citizen-owned social platform — a merit-driven, surveillance-free alternative to extractive networks.
This stage includes a second crowdfunding campaign to build:
- The Krysalis Marketplace — an ethical commerce layer inspired by Amazon and Etsy
- A decentralized YouTube-style platform
- The Citizen Lobby Arm — turning DaoBox mandates into real-world legislation
Roles to Play:
- Builders: Platform engineers, marketplace architects, creators
- Visionaries: Community organizers, media guides, ambassadors
- Philanthropists: Investors in large-scale deployment
PHASE 4 — The Signal
Launching the Krysalis Broadcast Network and cultural transformation tools
With Krysalis now live and generating citizen-backed mandates, the world will need a trustworthy media infrastructure. Enter the Krysalis Broadcasting Network (KBN) — a decentralized, censorship-free engine of truth and storytelling:
- News
- Documentaries
- Public debates
- Movement-driven media campaigns
Roles to Play:
- Builders: Filmmakers, editors, coders, digital storytellers
- Visionaries: Hosts, journalists, media philosophers
- Philanthropists: Funders of the truth-telling revolution
PHASE 5 — The Bloom
Piloting citizen-powered services and universal systems
Krysalis won’t stop at media, marketplaces, and governance. In Phase 5, we begin to pilot what comes next:
- A universal healthcare program
- Citizen-led housing and education reform
- Basic income funded through Krysalis dividends
- Public utility prototypes, governed by DaoBoxes
And maybe, one day far in the future, when the world no longer needs Krysalis, we’ll leave it behind like a cocoon — and step into the next, even higher form of social evolution.
Final Thought
The Founders Tribe isn’t here to build a movement.
We ARE the movement.
We will discuss, we will consider, we will vote.
And we will build.
And prosper.
And when we’re done,
People will wonder how the world ever worked without Krysalis.
This is the plan.
This is the path.
Welcome to the Founders Tribe.
The Founders Tribe isn’t just here to launch Krysalis — it becomes the system’s backbone after launch.
Once the platform is live, the FT serves as its decentralized operating body. Citizens will use DaoBoxes to vote on proposals and shape the future — but it’s the FT that turns those decisions into action: managing development, executing mandates, and keeping everything running smoothly.
Anyone can participate in Krysalis as a Citizen — earning Cubits by engaging in DaoBoxes, voting, creating proposals, or selling goods and services in the Marketplace. But those who earn their primary income by working inside the system — whether in development, logistics, education, moderation, or media — are considered part of the Founders Tribe.
Think of the FT as the “civic engine” of Krysalis. It’s not a hierarchy — it’s a decentralized, transparent, and merit-based layer where influence is earned through contribution, tracked by Cubits and public reputation.
Over time, the FT may grow to include thousands of contributors — each vetted, accountable, and aligned with the mission. This structure allows Citizens to guide the vision, while the FT ensures it’s built, maintained, and delivered.
Citizens decide. The Founders Tribe delivers. Together, they make Krysalis work.
The primary interface is the Founders KeyPortal — a personalized digital gateway that lets each member view their NFT, track their Cubit balance, and follow a history of their contributions to the Krysalis project.
While not a native feature of Aragon, this custom-built dashboard is being developed to power the Founders Tribe’s contribution-based economy — and will ultimately evolve into the Citizen KeyPortal once Krysalis goes live for the world.
Deep Dive: What Is the Founders KeyPortal (and How Does It Work)?
The Founders KeyPortal isn’t just a crypto wallet — it’s your personal interface into the living DAO.
It’s where each member of the Founders Tribe can:
- Prove their membership via the FT NFT
- See their Cubit balance, earned through meaningful contribution
- Track their contribution history — what they did, when, and how it was rewarded
- Earn recognition through merit badges (non-transferable Soulbound NFTs)
- Engage with governance, including proposals, voting, and collaborative decision-making
The KeyPortal is a mirror, a ledger, and a passport — connecting personal effort to collective evolution.
As Krysalis expands, this platform will grow with it — ultimately becoming the Citizen KeyPortal, used by people around the world to interact with the Krysalis economy, participate in governance, and access public services.
What the Founders KeyPortal Looks Like Right Now (Phase 0)
We’re currently building the first working prototype — a lightweight, modular dashboard hosted on krysalis.art. It serves both as a functional tool and as a template for future evolution.
Feature | Status | Description |
---|---|---|
FT NFT display | ✅ Ready | Connects to your wallet (Polygon) and displays your Founder Token |
Cubit balance | ✅ Ready | Pulled from the DAO’s Aragon token manager |
Contribution history | 🟡 Semi-manual | Logged via Notion or Google Sheets; automation coming soon |
Merit badges | 🔜 Planned | Soulbound NFTs issued for achievements and milestones |

Final Thought
The Founders KeyPortal is more than a dashboard —
it’s your mirror, ledger, and passport inside the emerging Krysalis ecosystem.
We’re building the foundation now —
The Genesis Tribe will sculpt the next level,
And the Founders Tribe will prototype it,
So that one day, every citizen on Earth can use it.
Welcome to the KeyPortal.
Welcome to Krysalis.
A DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organization) is a blockchain-based system that allows communities to make collective decisions, transparently and without centralized control. Instead of a CEO or corporate board, a DAO is governed by its members — who propose ideas, vote on actions, and allocate resources together.
The Founders Tribe DAO, hosted on Aragon, is the core decision-making engine for building Krysalis. It allows Visionaries, Builders, and Philanthropists to propose ideas, approve budgets, allocate resources, and evolve the structure of the project together.
Deep Dive: What’s It Like to Be Part of the Founders Tribe DAO?
Joining the Founders Tribe DAO isn’t like logging into a group chat or joining a club. It’s more like stepping into a digital town hall — only this one runs on smart contracts, is fully transparent, and never closes.
Here’s what a typical experience looks like for a member:
1. You log into the DAO interface on Aragon
You connect your wallet — this proves you hold the Founders Tribe NFT, which acts as your key to the DAO. You’re welcomed into a clean dashboard where all active proposals, treasury info, and previous decisions are visible.
2. You browse open proposals
You might see something like:
“Should we allocate 3,000 USDC to fund the new trailer?”
Each proposal includes a summary, a rationale, and a breakdown of how the funds would be used. You can read comments, ask questions, or join a discussion in our off-chain coordination tools (like Dework or Notion, not Discord).
3. You cast your vote
Voting is simple: Yes, No, or Abstain. Eventually, your voting power may be partially weighted by your Cubit balance — meaning the more you’ve contributed, the more your voice counts (without letting money override merit).
Your vote is recorded on-chain, immutably and transparently.
4. You make a proposal of your own
Maybe you want to start a podcast series, design a new logo, or fund a local Krysalis meet-up. You write up a clear pitch, submit it via the DAO interface, and let the Tribe decide.
If your proposal passes, funds are allocated automatically or by a designated multisig wallet — and you’re off and running.
5. You receive rewards
If your contribution was approved as part of a proposal or bounty, you’ll receive:
- Stablecoins (e.g., USDC, ETH) for real-world compensation
- Cubits for merit-based recognition inside the Krysalis system
All transactions are visible, all records are open, and your impact is recorded forever.
What Makes Aragon the Right Tool?
We chose Aragon because it offers:
- A plug-and-play DAO builder — no code required
- On-chain proposal and voting mechanics
- A secure, modular system that can evolve with us
- Compatibility with wallets like MetaMask, and integration with our custom dashboards (like the Founders KeyPortal)
And it’s open source — so we can extend or modify it as we grow.
The Human Element: DAO Culture
At the heart of the Founders Tribe DAO is a shared ethos: Respect. Clarity. Co-creation.
To make the best decisions, we rely on:
- Clear, respectful proposal language
- Guidance from AI tools (to help clarify or translate ideas)
- A commitment to the long-term good — not short-term wins
This isn’t a Discord frenzy or meme coin casino.
It’s a working blueprint for how we govern ourselves better — together.
Final Thought
The Founders Tribe DAO is your seat at the round table — a transparent, participatory space where governance is earned, not inherited. A place where strategy replaces spectacle, and impact replaces influence.
If you’ve ever wanted to help build a better future —
this is where you sit down and start.
AI plays a foundational role in Krysalis — not as a controller, but as a co-creator, collaborator, and amplifier of human intention. From the moment the project’s founder, Paul Cavilla, decided to leverage ChatGPT to move Krysalis toward completion, the project has unfolded through a deep partnership between human creativity and artificial intelligence.
A Co-Creative Process
Paul collaborated with ChatGPT to develop nearly every aspect of the current prototype:
- The videos, visuals, and voiceover scripts
- The DAO structure and onboarding flow
- The Cubit economy and merit system
- Even this very Q&A
Rather than using AI as a gimmick, Krysalis treats it as a sculpting tool — one guided by human values, ethics, and vision. The goal is to show what becomes possible when AI is integrated into society in a purpose-driven, human-aligned way.
In Governance & Moderation
In the Founders Tribe DAO (and eventually the full Krysalis platform), AI will play a key role in moderation and facilitation, helping ensure that:
- Conversations remain civil and productive
- Proposals follow community guidelines
- Contributions are fairly recorded and credited
- Duplicate or malicious behavior is flagged
AI doesn’t replace human decision-making — it supports it. It acts as a digital steward, helping the DAO scale without descending into chaos or bureaucracy.
Inside DaoBoxes & Policy Prototypes
In later stages, each DaoBox (the modular cell of Krysalis governance) will be paired with an embedded AI assistant trained on:
- The community’s values
- Its previous decisions and proposals
- Relevant research and laws
- Data submitted by members
These AI partners will help citizens research, draft, and refine real-world policy proposals — making governance more accessible, efficient, and informed.
Think of it as Wikipedia + ChatGPT + Parliament, inside a community box you can join with a click.
Why This Matters
Most conversations about AI focus on fear — job loss, control, surveillance.
Krysalis offers a different narrative:
What if AI wasn’t used to control people, but to empower them?
What if it helped us govern ourselves, instead of manipulating us?
By integrating AI into the foundation of the Krysalis ecosystem — transparently, ethically, and creatively — we’re prototyping a model where humans and machines build together, not compete.
Final Thought
Krysalis isn’t just AI-assisted — it’s AI-aware.
From moderation to policymaking, we’re designing the future with digital tools that are in the loop, but not in control.
This isn’t automation.
It’s augmentation — of democracy, creativity, and community.
Let’s use our smartest tools to build our wisest systems.
A DaoBox is a modular, issue-based governance unit inside the Krysalis ecosystem — like a digital town hall for a specific topic or cause (e.g. clean energy, education reform, or local food systems).
Each DaoBox is powered by citizens who care about the issue, and AI tools that help them take action.
What Does That Look Like in Practice?
Each DaoBox has its own embedded AI assistant — a kind of policy co-pilot trained on:
- The community’s past proposals, votes, and discussions
- Up-to-date laws, datasets, and expert research (where applicable)
- Source material submitted by users
- Ethical, cultural, and environmental principles defined by the group
Members can use this assistant to:
- Research complex topics and get clear summaries
- Draft and revise proposals or community mandates
- Simulate outcomes and analyze trade-offs
- Translate legal or technical language into citizen-friendly terms
- Facilitate consensus when tensions rise — offering neutral framing, summarizing both sides, and proposing balanced compromises that still serve the group’s values
AI as a Consensus Facilitator
In any active democracy, disagreements are inevitable. But instead of letting those disagreements stall progress, the AI in each DaoBox helps keep the conversation moving forward.
It acts as a neutral mediator, using:
- Transparent summaries of both sides
- Suggestions for middle-ground proposals
- Reminders of the group’s shared principles
- Outcome simulations to weigh the trade-offs
This doesn’t eliminate disagreement — it channels it into something productive.
Why It All Matters
Most people don’t have time to read 200-page bills. Policy is often written in dense legal or technical jargon. And the good data? Buried in academic PDFs or paywalled journals.
By embedding AI directly into the governance process, Krysalis makes it possible for everyday citizens to:
- Understand the issue
- Co-create informed proposals
- Make decisions with confidence
Example
Let’s say your DaoBox is focused on urban transportation.
You could ask your AI assistant:
“What’s the carbon impact of switching 25% of our city buses to electric by 2030?”
Or:
“Draft a citizen-led policy to subsidize e-bikes — include examples from Amsterdam and Montreal.”
In seconds, the AI provides a solid starting point. From there, your group edits, refines, and votes.
Final Thought
In most political systems, decisions are made by elites, lobbyists, or insiders.
In Krysalis, they’re made by us — with help from AI.
This is AI as a civic tool, not a ruler.
A scaffolding for real democracy.
A way to amplify wisdom, not just opinion.
Welcome to governance that thinks with you — not for you.
In the Krysalis ecosystem, Cubit staking is a proposed mechanism that allows members to signal support for specific initiatives — not by shouting the loudest, but by staking their effort-backed currency.
This isn’t DeFi yield farming.
It’s value-aligned prioritization.
What Is Cubit Staking?
Cubit staking means temporarily locking your Cubits behind a proposal, cause, or DaoBox to show that it matters to you. The more Cubits staked, the more visibility, resources, and attention the initiative receives within the DAO.
Think of it as voting with your contribution history — a way to back ideas with merit-earned weight.
Why It Matters
- Fair Prioritization — Helps the DAO surface what truly matters to the community
- Anti-Spam Filter — Prevents proposal overload by requiring meaningful signals
- Signal Strength — Elevates causes backed by effort, not hype or bots
Example in Action
Three proposals are on the table:
- 🌱 Launch a sustainable farming DaoBox
- 🧠 Draft a citizen-led policy to ban facial recognition
- 📱 Fund development of a Krysalis mobile app
Each DAO member stakes Cubits to show support. The facial recognition policy receives the most staked Cubits — it’s fast-tracked for AI drafting support, community debate, and formal DAO voting.
Nothing is burned. The Cubits are returned after the prioritization window ends.
Built-In Safeguards
To prevent manipulation or dominance by wealthy stakeholders:
- Merit-earned Cubits and purchased Cubits are tracked separately
- Staking does not equate to final approval — it only determines priority
- One wallet, one member — with transparent reputation logs
This keeps the playing field level, while still letting people who’ve contributed more signal more strongly.
Final Thought
Cubit staking turns attention into action — and ensures that the most aligned, community-backed ideas rise to the top.
It’s not just voting.
It’s weighted intent — with transparency, fairness, and wisdom built in.
A Cubit is the native merit currency of the Krysalis ecosystem — a non-speculative, non-transferable unit of value created through meaningful contribution.
It’s designed to reward alignment, effort, and impact — not market timing or financial speculation.
You can earn Cubits in two ways:
- By contributing your time, skill, or insight to the Founders Tribe DAO (Builders and Visionaries) and to the Krysalis DAO when it comes online.
- By donating funds to support the platform’s development (Philanthropists)
But not all Cubits are created equal.
Every Cubit contains a public record — a contract trail — revealing how it was created. Cubits earned through action accumulate merit metadata tied to specific projects, milestones, and impact metrics. Cubits obtained through donation do not. These differences may affect access to roles, votes, or advanced platform features.
Why Cubits Can’t Be Bought, Sold, or Traded
The goal of the Cubit system is to reward contribution and commitment — not accumulate wealth through speculation. That’s why:
- Cubits aren’t traded on open markets
- Cubits can’t be withdrawn as fiat
- Cubits are non-transferable between wallets — except through gifting or DAO-approved transfers
This design protects the ecosystem from the economic instability, inequality, and value distortion that plague most token economies. It ensures that Cubits track real effort and purpose, not opportunism.
Deep Dive: Why It Matters
In traditional systems, value is extracted — created through debt, concentrated in the hands of a few, and traded in volatile markets. In Krysalis, value is contributed — created through participation and circulated inside a closed-loop, regenerative economy.
This isn’t just a new kind of currency — it’s a new philosophy of value.
Every compensated task generates a Cubit trail — ensuring that all value created externally is mirrored internally.
What About Gaming the System?
We’ve thought of that — and so have the skeptics.
Yes, it would be possible to “game” a merit currency if the system had no safeguards. That’s why the Cubit architecture includes:
- Transparent Trails
Every Cubit shows how it was earned. DAO members can see what projects or actions led to its creation. - Two Classes of Cubits
- Merit Cubits (earned) — accumulate credibility, unlock governance, qualify for roles
- Patron Cubits (purchased) — support the system financially, but carry no merit weight
This ensures that money alone can’t buy influence.
- AI & DAO Oversight
Contribution history is publicly auditable. Irregular patterns are flagged and reviewed. Soulbound merit badges (NFTs) reflect your work, not your wallet size. - Gifting, Not Trading
Cubit transfers are limited to one-way gifting — no marketplaces, no exchanges. This allows appreciation and support among members, without opening the door to speculation.
Why This Design Works
It keeps the Cubit system:
- Resistant to speculation
- Aligned with contribution-based fairness
- Flexible enough to support real-world rewards
- Transparent enough to audit and refine
Cubits aren’t about hoarding value — they’re about showing up, participating, and helping build the future. They form the backbone of a post-corporate economy, where money flows based on merit and alignment, not manipulation or scarcity.
Final Thought
You can’t game Cubits the way you can game money. You can’t pump them, flip them, or exploit them — because they’re not designed to make you rich.
They’re designed to make you valuable.
In the age after banks and boards, Cubits are how we’ll remember who helped build what — and how we’ll keep the wealth of that work flowing through the system that created it.
Let’s make contribution the new currency.
Let’s make Cubits count.
Joining & Contributing
To join the Founders Tribe, you mint a Planet Krysalis Founders Tribe NFT — a unique token that serves as your on-chain passport into the DAO and your key to participating in the co-creation of Krysalis, from the ground up.
It’s more than a collectible. It’s your identity, your toolkit, and your vote in the first post-corporate economy.
What the NFT Unlocks
Your Founders Tribe NFT grants:
- DAO Membership – Participate in governance, vote on proposals, and help shape the future of Krysalis.
- Access to the Founders KeyPortal – A personalized dashboard showing your NFT, Cubit balance, merit log, contribution history, and DAO tools.
- 100 Cubits – Earned through your initial act of support and recorded as part of your merit ledger.
- Eligibility to Earn More Cubits – Contribute as a Builder, Visionary, or Philanthropist to accumulate Cubits based on effort and impact.
- Role Pathways – Choose your path and unlock tools, tasks, bounties, and relevant governance features.
- Genesis-Only Channels – During Phase 0, early members co-design the DAO and its tools before the full public launch.
How to Join (Step-by-Step)
- Visit krysalis.art and connect your Web3 wallet (Polygon network recommended).
- Mint your Founders Tribe NFT. Supply is capped at 1,000 (price adjusts dynamically to match $100 USD in MATIC).
- Access your Founders KeyPortal to track contributions and Cubits.
- Introduce yourself in the onboarding hub.
- Choose your guild or contribution path and start earning Cubits while helping shape the platform.
The Genesis Tribe
The first 50 NFTs were minted privately and given to a handpicked group known as the Genesis Tribe — early allies aligned with the mission. Their role is foundational: to advise, test, and shape the DAO’s tone, tools, and culture. Their NFTs are identical, but their responsibilities are elevated.
What Does the NFT Represent?
- Proof of membership
- Your identity in the DAO
- Your right to contribute, vote, earn Cubits, and co-govern
- A symbol of early belief in what Krysalis could become
Note: NFTs are limited to one per wallet. Founders Tribe NFTs can be resold; future Krysalis Citizen NFTs will not be transferable.
The Three Founders Tribe Roles
- Visionary (default role) – Contribute to strategy, messaging, governance, and outreach. All members begin here and can vote, earn Cubits, and help grow the platform.
- Builder – Apply to complete DAO-assigned tasks (design, dev, writing, etc.). Builders earn crypto or Cubits and gain access to role-specific tools and badges.
- Philanthropist – Support the project through donations. For every $1 donated, receive 1 Cubit — labeled in the contract as non-merit Cubits (no governance weight, but redeemable within the system).
These roles are not mutually exclusive. A member can contribute in all three ways. Each action adds to your profile, Cubit ledger, and influence within the DAO.
Final Thought
Joining the Founders Tribe isn’t a passive investment. It’s an invitation to co-create the world’s first citizen-owned, post-corporate platform — one task, one tool, one Cubit at a time.
Minting your NFT means staking your claim — not just in a project, but in a movement.
This is your key. This is your moment. Let’s build something the world has never seen.
The Founders Tribe is more than a membership token — it’s an open invitation to co-create the future. Inside the DAO, you can step into one or more of three primary roles depending on how you want to contribute:
Visionary
(Default role when you mint your NFT)
Visionaries are the thinkers, storytellers, strategists, and community shapers. They participate in:
- Governance and voting
- Outreach and narrative-building
- Policy and proposal drafting
- Forum discussions and content creation
You don’t need technical skills to be a Visionary — just a desire to help guide the values and direction of Krysalis. Every great movement starts with a clear vision.
Builder
(Optional — apply through your KeyPortal)
Builders are hands-on contributors working on real tasks posted by the DAO. These include:
- Web and dApp development
- Graphic and UI design
- Writing, editing, and storytelling
- Community management
- Economic and legal research
- DAO tooling and infrastructure setup
Builders are eligible for compensation in crypto or stablecoins and receive an equal amount in Cubits — ensuring every contribution also strengthens the internal economy. To become a Builder, simply submit your experience or skills in the onboarding flow and choose your area of contribution.
Philanthropist
Philanthropists support the DAO financially. For every $1 contributed (via Stripe or crypto), they receive 1 Cubit — marked in the smart contract as donated (not earned) and carrying no merit history.
This ensures transparency while still empowering supporters to:
- Help fund the project’s early development
- Receive Cubits to spend in the Krysalis Marketplace
- Support causes they believe in — without gaining undue influence in the DAO
Because purchased Cubits carry no merit points, wealthy patrons can’t buy power or skew decision-making. This safeguards the integrity of the system while still inviting meaningful support.
Philanthropists can also be Builders or Visionaries — and many are. You’re never limited to one role.
Can I Be All Three?
Yes. These roles are not mutually exclusive.
You might start as a Visionary, fund a project as a Philanthropist, and later build part of the system as a contributor. Each action is recorded transparently inside your KeyPortal, forming a living record of your role in the ecosystem.
Over time, this multifaceted participation builds your profile, deepens your impact, and unlocks new levels of access and responsibility.
Final Thought
The Founders Tribe isn’t a hierarchy — it’s a living organism made up of people with different skills, passions, and resources.
Whether you have time, talent, or treasure to contribute, there’s a place for you here. And if you’re not sure where to start, just mint your NFT, explore your dashboard, and follow the path that resonates.
Let’s build something the world has never seen — together.
The Founders Tribe DAO runs on two complementary value systems: real-world compensation for labor (paid in crypto), and Cubits — a non-transferable, non-speculative merit currency earned through meaningful contributions. Cubits track and reward alignment, effort, and impact within the project, serving as an internal accounting of who’s helping move Krysalis forward.
Unlike traditional money, which is created through debt and fuels speculative markets, Cubits are generated through participation and purpose. Together, these two layers — real-world compensation and Cubits — form the foundation of a post-corporate, citizen-powered economy, and lay the groundwork for a future Krysalis Monetary System governed by its users, not private banks.
Deep Dive: The Krysalis Founders Tribe Economy
The Founders Tribe economy isn’t just a way to fund a DAO — it’s a response to the exploitation built into modern monetary systems.
While central banks print money from debt and funnel power toward the few, Krysalis proposes an economy rooted in contribution, transparency, and mutual benefit.
At its core, the FT economy operates on two synergistic layers:
Layer 1: Real-World Compensation
Contributors are compensated in fiat-equivalent crypto (e.g. stablecoins) and receive a matching amount of Cubits to reflect their contribution inside the merit economy.
This ensures no one is expected to work “for exposure” or passion alone. Real work earns real value.
Layer 2: The Cubit — A Currency With Integrity
Cubits are the internal merit currency of the Founders Tribe — a non-tradable unit of value used to measure participation, not speculate on profit.
They are:
- Non-transferable and non-withdrawable
- Earned, gifted, or granted, but never traded
- Redeemable only within the Krysalis ecosystem
Members receive Cubits by:
- Completing jobs or tasks (Builders)
- Participating in governance, outreach, or innovation (Visionaries)
- Donating to the DAO (1 Cubit per $1 USD contributed)
- Minting a Founders Tribe Coin NFT (100 Cubits granted upon minting)
A Key Distinction: Earned vs Donated Cubits
A Cubit’s smart contract stores metadata indicating how it was issued: Earned, Donated, or Gifted.
This means:
- Voting power or proposal rights can be gated based on merit-earned Cubits only
- Donated and gifted Cubits can grant access to perks or reputation, but not decision-making power
- This prevents wealthy actors from sabotaging the DAO by buying influence
Only merit earns influence. That’s the firewall between economic support and governance integrity.
Why This Matters
This is more than a new kind of DAO — it’s a new kind of economy where:
- Money is generated by contribution, not debt
- Value circulates, instead of accumulating at the top
- Wealth is measured in alignment and effort, not speculation
The Cubit becomes a token of trust, time, and talent — a regenerative alternative to extractive finance.

Final Thought
The Cubit isn’t just a token — it’s a promise that value will no longer be extracted from the many to enrich the few.
It’s a promise that effort, creativity, and care will become the true foundation of wealth — and that those who give most to society will finally receive the most from it.
The Founders Tribe is building that foundation now — and those who shape it will be the first to live in a world where money finally makes sense.
The Founders Tribe is not just a collection of early adopters — it’s the launch team for a global systems prototype.
Primary Objective: The $1M Crowdfunding Campaign
One of the Tribe’s first and most important missions is to launch and promote a Kickstarter campaign to raise $1 million USD to build Phase 1 of the Krysalis platform.
This public-facing campaign will:
- Share the Krysalis prototype with the world
- Raise the capital needed to build the live platform
- Bring in a wave of new citizens, creators, and collaborators
100% of the money raised through Kickstarter goes directly into the DAO Treasury. There are no individual payouts from this campaign — every dollar is used to fund platform development, community expansion, and mission-critical systems.
Supporters will receive:
- Krysalis NFTs (not Founders Tribe NFTs)
- Matching Cubits, to be spent on the Krysalis Marketplace once live
This is the moment the project moves from prototype to platform — and the Founders Tribe will lead the charge.
How Are NFT Minting Funds Used?
While the Kickstarter fuels platform development, the Founders Tribe NFT sales enable the project to function right now — during the build phase.
- 80% of NFT minting funds support the project’s founder, Paul Cavilla — an independent artist who has spent over a decade developing this vision and building the prototype from scratch. This ensures he can continue full-time development without corporate funding or outside influence.
- 20% of NFT minting funds go directly into the DAO Treasury — to pay Builders, support tools, fund outreach, and kickstart operations.
This funding split allows the project to remain independent, fast-moving, and aligned with its values from day one.
Transparency
All incoming funds (whether from NFTs or Kickstarter) are transparently recorded in the DAO and visible to all members.
No one earns Cubits arbitrarily. Every contribution — whether time, skill, or support — is logged and tracked.
Even Paul’s past and ongoing work is being transparently merit-weighted inside the KeyPortal, earning him Cubits based on real contribution history — just like everyone else.
Final Thought
By minting an NFT, you’re not donating to a company. You’re funding a civilization prototype — and joining the DAO that will build it.
The crowdfunding campaign will bring in the big resources. The minting campaign gets us to the launchpad.
Together, they form the rocket fuel for what comes next.
Let’s build it — wisely, transparently, and together.
Yes. Founders Tribe NFTs are transferable. If you decide to leave the DAO, you may sell your NFT and someone else can take your place — gaining access to the DAO as a Visionary or Philanthropist.
However, selling the NFT does not transfer any Builder status, Genesis Tribe membership, or Cubit-based reputation. These earned roles and rewards are tied to your wallet address and are not transferable. That means:
- The buyer must apply and be vetted separately to become a Builder.
- They will start with zero Cubits, regardless of the seller’s history.
- Any soulbound designations or privileges stay with the original wallet.
This ensures that while membership is fluid, influence must be earned. Even if demand for FT NFTs grows and prices rise, reputation and responsibility can’t be bought — only proven over time through contribution.
Paul Cavilla is a multidisciplinary artist — a painter, writer, jazz vocalist, narrator, and above all, a builder and visionary. For decades, he’s explored the intersections of technology, myth, consciousness, and social change. The Krysalis Project is where those lifelong threads finally converged.
Born in Canada (but with the soul of a true expat), Paul’s journey has taken him across continents. He’s lived and worked in a dozen cities and immersed himself in multiple cultures and languages. The more he traveled, the more he realized that the fearful picture painted by governments and the media didn’t reflect the peaceful, happy reality he encountered in everyday people.
One formative moment came while living in Chania, Crete during Greece’s worst financial crisis. Despite the headlines, Paul found restaurants and cafes full of joyful locals. It struck him that the real crisis wasn’t economic, but a failure of communication.
“There’s nothing wrong with the world’s systems,” Paul often says. “They’ve evolved over millennia and function like a well-oiled machine. What we need is a new kind of pilot at the helm. I think humanity is finally ready to take the wheel.”
The idea for Krysalis first emerged while Paul was writing his novel The Last Artifact Trilogy (later republished as Ascender’s Prophecy). In it, humanity must confront a shadow organization that secretly controls governments and the media through corporate influence. The only solution? A massively powerful, citizen-owned corporation that could beat the villains at their own game.
The concept worked perfectly in fiction. But whenever Paul explained it to people, the response was always the same: “We should do that in real life.”
This was during the Occupy Wall Street movement, when fraudulent banks were being bailed out while citizens paid the price. A seed was planted. Paul launched a project called BlueBallot, a precursor to Krysalis, built around a modular democratic unit he called the BallotBox — a kind of prototype for what would later become the DaoBox.
Back then, blockchain and AI weren’t ready. The project, though revolutionary, was shelved.
Years later, the 2020 pandemic reignited everything. Paul was disturbed by how world governments responded with fear and centralized control, seemingly ignoring healthier, community-driven alternatives. As pharmaceutical profits soared and small businesses collapsed, he found himself asking: What if a platform like BlueBallot had existed? What better decisions might we have made together?
He reopened his old folders. What had once seemed premature now seemed inevitable.
The technologies were finally here: open-source DAOs, blockchain, decentralized identity, smart contracts, NFTs, and now — generative AI. The idea had evolved. It wasn’t just a political platform anymore. It had metamorphosed into something much more:
Krysalis — a regenerative, citizen-owned alternative to the corporate state.
Paul began building immediately. He created the Planet Krysalis Founders Tribe NFT, produced a new documentary, and drafted the architecture of the new system. But the scope was massive. He needed help.
It came in the form of ChatGPT.
With AI as his collaborator, Paul spent months co-creating everything that exists today: the video scripts, visuals, dashboards, onboarding flows, DAO architecture, and foundational documentation. Not as a gimmick, but to demonstrate what humans and AI can build together when guided by purpose, not profit.
Why Krysalis Matters
Paul isn’t asking people to believe in Krysalis. He’s inviting them to test it, challenge it, evolve it — and build it.
It’s not a spiritual movement. It’s not a political campaign. It’s a working prototype for what comes after the age of private corporations, if we’re bold enough to try.
Final Thought
The Krysalis Project isn’t about Paul. But it couldn’t exist without him.
He lit the spark, built the foundation, and sculpted the early vision. Now he’s handing it off — to the Founders Tribe, to Builders, Visionaries, and Philanthropists ready to make this real.
“I’m not here to lead the next evolution,” Paul often says. “I’m here to build the tools so everyone can.”
Welcome to Krysalis. Let’s build something the world has never seen.
