En Producto, Cavilla sets dark blue, branching forms against an intense field of red and orange. Fine spirals and scattered spacial suggestions emerge between the heavier contours, then slip back into the layered colour. The contrast between this firm framework and its elusive imagery gives the painting a sense of context taking shape, hovering at the threshold between abstraction and recognition.
